Services
Poppy Pediatric Mental Health is a medical practice that treats children and teens who struggle with emotional or behavioral issues. We provide a supportive environment, working closely with the patient and their parents to formulate a comprehensive care plan that may include lifestyle modifications, therapy, medication or a combination of these strategies. We hope to collaborate with the primary care physician and any therapists to create a team approach. The goal is to optimize mental health by looking at the whole patient. Having worked in general pediatrics for decades, Dr. Gardner will consider any medical issues that could be inducing the patient's mental struggles and, in some cases, may order blood tests or other evaluations to make that determination.
Most visits will be conducted via telehealth but in-person appointments can be made available.
Our practice specializes in these areas:
- ADHD
- Behavioral Issues
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- Dysthymia
- Sleep disturbances
